YEAR OF BIRTH
While I believe that I am more than an athlete, being an athlete has shaped my life in a way where I can’t imagine life without sport.
Competitive, resilient, passionate
Megan Tuncer is a 24-year-old AG triathlete from Kensington, MD, now living in Portland, OR. She began her triathlon career during her freshman year in college after switching to the sport from playing soccer nationally. She competed at Collegiate Club Nationals 3 years in a row before graduating and focusing on long course triathlon.
Since then, she’s completed two full distance races and has qualified for Kona (but has not raced in Kona yet!) and has jumped into the world of ultrarunning.
When she’s not training, Megan enjoys spending time in the outdoors – backpacking, climbing, trail running, and learning how to surf.
