Driven, focused, adaptable

My name is Hunter Lussi. I am a U.S. professional triathlete based in Maryland, in 2021, I received my law degree from the American University Washington College of Law, and when I am not training for or racing in triathlons, I am studying for the Bar Exam to become a lawyer, slalom waterskiing, and continuing to help run and develop my family’s assisted living business in Maryland. (Assisted Living Well Compassionate Care LLC). I have competed in triathlons since I was 6, I am the youngest Half-Ironman at 12 and the youngest Ironman distance nisher at 13. I have been a professional triathlete since 2013. From 2013 through 2018 I had the opportunity to represent the United States primarily in ITU short course races, including two U-23 world championship. Since the summer of 2018, I have primarily focused on 70.3 racing and this year, 2021, I competed in my first Ironman as a professional in Lake Placid. I hope to continue to race and find success in the 70.3 and Ironman distance, with the primary goal of qualifying for both the 70.3 world championship and the Ironman world championships.
